The Moultrie County Health Department (MCHD) in conjunction with the Illinois Department Public Health (IDPH) and the Illinois National Guard will host a COVID-19 mass-vaccination clinic in Sullivan.
The immunization clinic will bring 800 Johnson and Johnson vaccines to individuals who live or work in Moultrie County. The clinic will be held on Friday, March 19 from 8:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. at Building 1225 located at 1225 S. Hamilton in Sullivan.
Vaccines will be provided to all of those who qualify as 1A, 1B and 1B+ under the IDPH vaccination guidelines.
Those receiving the vaccine must be 18 years or older. Participants will be expected to produce a photo ID along with proof of residency or Moultrie County workplace identification before checking into the clinic.
Those who have previously registered online with the MCHD and have not yet received their vaccine may also sign-up for this opportunity at the afore-mentioned link. Registrations on the MCHD website will not transfer to this clinic.
In order to provide safe physical distancing, entrance to clinic is restricted to vaccine recipients and personal care assistants only. Participants are requested to wear short sleeves. Masks are required while in the clinic.
The MCHD would like to thank the Governor’s office, IDPH, Illinois National Guard, our many local partners and elected officials, and Building 1225 for their support and participation in this event.
