Full-Time Staff Nurse (RN)

The Moultrie County Health Department is seeking a Full-time Staff Nurse (35 hours per week) to perform essential public health nursing duties.

The following represents a brief description of positions within the MCHD. Please note that each position in the MCHD entails a variety of duties and responsibilities which may or may not be listed.

Full-time Staff Nurse Duties

These duties may include but are not limited to the following:

  • Communicable diseases
  • Illness Prevention
  • Immunizations and lab work
  • Adult Health
  • Maternal child health

Qualifications

  • A current license as a registered professional nurse in the State of Illinois (required)
  • Proof of graduation from an accredited school of registered nursing or a B.S.N. program
  • Two full years of work experience as an R.N.

Salary commensurate with education and experience. Compensation includes a competitive benefits package.
